June StrumMn meeting

Let's meet on Sunday June 7th, 2-5pm.

We'll meet at the Como Pavillion but we'll plan to stay outside.
Hopefully it will be nice enough to meet at a picnic table near the waterfall, otherwise we'll find space under the Pavillion roof on the lake side.

Brian - are you continuing to meet on Sundays during the Summer and not a night during the week? Thanks!

Hmmm, I forgot about that... if people prefer we can throw in a weeknight... I've always thought that was pretty nice. Now that the wedding is done I'm trying to get through a graduation and not thinking straight just yet.

What night works best? Like a Tuesday maybe?

I'll post this over on the Nexo site too....I know that the TCUO meets every Tuesday. Maybe we could take a poll to find out the majority's preference?

Like I said, not thinking...
I believe we used to do Mondays, maybe we should just go with that again.

I could possibly go on some Tuesdays or Thursdays. I haven't been able to make it to StrumMN for a while now. Hopefully one of these days it'll work out. Enjoy the summer and keep strummin!

54 degrees was a bit cool, 2 of us played for about 1.5 hours before the fingers gave up.

I'm looking to surprise my wife by going in the backyard on a pleasant day, pulling out my Flea and playing the following on the ukulele:

Does anyone know of someone in MN (or wherever I guess) who I could pay to put together an ukulele arrangement of the song? I'm hoping for 2 versions...one using chords that a beginner/novice like myself can play and another that can be plucked(?).

Someday I hope to make it up to one of your gatherings (I'm down in Rochester).
